Rebekah Klein - Instructor

Rebekah received her Bachelor of Music Education from Grand Valley State University in 2006 and will complete her Master of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in August of 2011.  Rebekah has been a member of the Cadillac Symphony Orchestra since she moved to Cadillac in September of 2010.  Rebekah is the Orchestra Director for the Cadillac Area Public Schools along with being a private instructor for the Cadillac String Association.  She teaches beginning to to Suzuki Level 4.  During her summers off, Rebekah enjoys teaching at the MASTA Elementary String Camps.  She teaches violin, viola and beginning cello along with group lessons.  In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys cooking, hiking, shopping, running and spending time with her family.

 

Lani Kitler - Instructor/Grant Writer

 

Lani received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1984, and her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan in 1995.  She has performed with numerous orchestras in southeast Michigan playing both violin and viola, and performed for more than 15 years with the Abyssinian Quartet based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She is currently a core member of the Traverse Symphony and performs regularly with the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra.  Before coming to Cadillac in 2006, Lani taught both violin and viola in the communities of Dexter and Farmington, Michigan. 

 

Lani currently lives in Cadillac with her husband, two children and numerous pets. 

 

Alicia Woodman - Instructor

 

Alicia Woodman has been teaching violin since 1999 and received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Central Michigan University in 2008. She is also certified by the American Suzuki Association to teach Violin Books 1 - 4. She enjoys teaching violin and viola to students of all ages. Because of her family's musical background in bluegrass music, Alicia often teaches fiddle and Celtic styles to students in addition to the Suzuki repertoire. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys horseback riding, camping, and driving truck with her husband, Don.
